Year 8 Science

• Teaching Point- Chemistry in Everyday Life: Burning, Respiration and Combustion
• Classwork- Read sections from text on combustion and burning discuss how they are similar and different along with respiration. Create working definitions for all three along with reactant and product.
• Homework- Summarize what you know about burning, respiration and combustion. (8G Only- 6 Paragraph essay about proper classroom behavior.)
